Working Transformations

Like What I've Done With The Place?

Did we ever think we'd see the day when environmental welfare would reach such a critical tipping point while powers-that-be ignore the need for radical change?

My 63rd year on this planet fast approaches and for as long as I can remember, I've been an advocate of the natural world. I tried to rescue baby blackbirds that had fallen from the nest when I was two. When I was four, apparently on my insistence, my parents took me to Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve (a bird observatory then, with guest accommodation) where a ringer woke me at dawn to show me a kestrel they were about to release.

Supporting The Wildlife Trusts and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society adds some consolation to my life but it's not enough to stop the global onslaught of desecration. Pristine wilderness threatened by mining contracts, vulnerable species trafficked in their millions - have we learned nothing in the wake of the buffalo slaughter on the Great Plains in the 1800s that cost indigenous people their entire civilization?

Is it okay to keep on ravaging the planet at an exponential rate?

Rain falls regardless. Science fiction has come to life. I'm old enough to have seen the terrifying curve in action, sharp enough to see through the smokescreens and lies.

Are you? Do you believe there are better times ahead for mankind, or are we dooming ourselves to the total annihilation of liveable ecology?

The few birds still alive are silent at dawn now, as spring approaches here in the UK.

The long term forecast promises no sunshine in sight.

Meanwhile, researchers have found continual activity in regions linked to cognitive focus and memory when the brain is subjected to silence. This suggests silence is not empty time at all...it is deep mental work happening quietly without distraction. Hence the widely-acknowledged benefits of meditation. https://www.newsnationnow.com/health/silence-rewire-brain-three-days/

This goes against the trend of screen activity keeping us in a permanently locked state of artificial stimulation. When you consider the potential exposure to harmful rays, subliminal influence and micro-frequencies, the commercial push towards screen attention seems subversive at the very least, distractive at best.

Yet in this respect, as in so many others, we have sleep-walked into a situation from which there seems no turning back.

Do you see a shift in tides in future? Is the next generation going to pull the plug on deep-seated commercial and political interests? I trust that quantum exploration will help us through to the next phase of our evolution and if you agree, please join me at Skool where we can head for advancement together - https://www.skool.com/quantumology-5647/about
